Abstract:
Nian-Yin Zeng, PhD, is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Xiamen University. His main research interests include data intelligence analysis (modelling, learning, optimization and decision making), and AI-driven automation (AI+Aviation/Industry/Medical). He is in charge of more than 20 research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Major Science and Technology Special Topics, and Jieqing of Fujian Province. He has published more than 100 SCI papers, more than 20 ESI highly cited/hot papers, more than 10,000 Google citations, and 43 H-index in IEEE TNNLS, TCYB, TKDE, TII, TMI, TBME, etc. He has also edited/participated in the publication of 5 monographs, 5 textbooks/chapters, and has been authorised to obtain 18 patents and other intellectual property rights, and has been awarded 1 group standard and 2 patents for transformation. 1 group standard. He was awarded the second prize of China Invention Association, the second and third prizes of Fujian Province Natural Science, the first prize of Chongqing Natural Science, and the second prize of Xiamen Municipal Scientific and Technological Progress. He has been awarded ‘Nanqiang Young Top Talent’ by Xiamen University, ‘Top Talent of Fujian Province and Xiamen City’, ‘Key Talent of Xiamen City’, ‘Fujian Jiejun’, ‘International Scholar Exchange Fellowship’ by Korea Foundation for Higher Education, ‘Top 2% of the World's Top Scientists’, ‘Global Highly Cited Scientist’ by Corevision, etc. He serves as Associate Editor, Editorial Board Member/Young Editorial Board Member of 10 journals, including Neurocomputing, Computers in Biology and Medicine, Evolutionary Intelligence, Journal of Electronics and Information, and Chinese Journal of Image and Graphics, as well as a member of the programme committees of a number of international conferences; the Wu Wentjun Award for AI Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the National Science Foundation of China. Wu Wenjun Prize in Artificial Intelligence, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), National Science Centre of Poland (NSC), and National Agency for Research and Development (NARDA) of Chile. He serves as a liaison member of the Aero Engine Industry-Academia Consortium of the China Association for Science and Technology, a member of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Society for Artificial Intelligence, a member of the Special Committee on Industrial Internet of Things Technology and Application and the Popularisation Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Automation, and a member of the IEEE CIS Task Force on Big Data.
